What we can help with
- Calculation errors. If a result looks wrong, tell us what you entered and what you expected. This is the most valuable message we receive.
- Questions about the numbers — which formula we use and how a figure is derived.
- Factual corrections to any of our guides. Please include a source where you can.
- Bugs, broken links or display problems. Mention your browser and device so we can reproduce it.
- Advertising, partnership and press enquiries.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give financial, mortgage, tax or legal advice, and we will not try. We are not a lender, broker or licensed adviser. We cannot tell you what rate you qualify for, whether to refinance, or which loan is right for you. Those questions need a licensed professional who can see your full financial position.
Never send us account numbers, Social Security numbers or other financial identifiers. We have no use for them and email is not a secure medium.
